i’ve been a photographer

for over 7 years now and, since starting, I have been blessed to capture weddings, elopements, couples, and practically everything in-between. I was a given a film camera in my last year of high school (thanks Aunt Stacy) and shortly after graduating, my interest in photography began to grow. Thanks to the amazing support of family and friends, I started shooting full-time a few years later. I had no clue in those early days how significant the gift of that one film camera would be in my life.

Photography has taken me on the wildest adventures (like that one time I was asked to shoot a vow renewal on a small island in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico - YES) and has led me to meet the most amazing souls. I’m forever grateful for the connections (new friends!) this job brings.

I can honestly say, there is nothing that inspires me more than the couples that come my way. Their shared love, hopes, dreams, and anticipation for the future is the driving force behind all I do.

My biggest aim is to capture and preserve all of those exciting and intimate emotions in the most honest, heartfelt way.

when i’m not hiding behind the lens…

… you’ll find me roaming thrift stores or researching family history with a coffee in hand. Ancestry.com is practically my browser homepage (and let’s face it, every family has a nut who knows the entire family tree, so it might as well be me). I also spend a lot of time dreaming up new businesses ventures - ones that I’ll probably never start - but who knows, there’s a time and place for everything!
